Arthur Clifford Weller

Mr. Arthur Clifford (A.C.) Weller, age 67, of Pilot Mountain, NC passed away Wednesday morning at the Woltz Hospice Home. Arthur was born April 14, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York to Clifford A. and Ida Morris Weller. He was owner of A.C. Weller accounting in Pilot Mountain, and Gordon Oil Co. Arthur was a member, fireman, EMT, and on the board of Directors, of the Pinnacle Volunteer Fire Department, a member of Pilot Masonic Lodge 493 A.F. & A.M., was a former member of the First United Methodist Church Pinnacle, NC where he served on the administrative board, music director, Sunday school leader and teacher, and member of men's breakfast club. Arthur was currently a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pilot Mountain and served on the Administrative Council. Arthur was preceded in death by his father: Rev. Clifford A. Weller. Surviving is his wife of 45 years: Fran Weller, Two sons and daughters-in-law: Artie and Wendy Weller, Waxhaw, NC, Michael Todd and Emily Weller, Morrisville, NC, two Grandchildren: Haley and Joshua Weller, his mother Ida Weller, Mt. Airy, NC, two sisters and brothers-in-law: Barbara and Sam Jeffords, Pilot Mountain, NC, Dottie and Reggie Henkle, Mt. Holly, NC. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Pilot Mountain, NC by Rev. Tom Hunter and Rev. Sidney Lanier. Burial will be in the Pilot Mountain City Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral services in the fellowship hall of the church. Memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030, or to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd. Dobson, NC 27107.
