Aura "Lettie" Leticia Melton

Colfax – Mrs. Aura “Letty” Leticia Melton passed away October 19, 2023, at Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point. She was born October 14, 1940, to the late Joseph Woods Riley and Marta Soliz Riley. Letty was a great friend and gave good advice when needed. She was a classy lady who dressed to perfection. She would always cheer you up and make you laugh. She loved God and her church. She had a wonderful personality and will be missed by many. Letty loved people so and was a volunteer at Kernersville Medical Center and could always bring a smile to anyone’s face. Surviving are, her loving husband Harlie Melton, her two sons, Craig Joseph Melton and Gary Glenn Melton, five grandchildren, Ryan, Rylie, Reece, Reagan, and Jordan. A funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 am Monday, October 23, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 10:45 am prior to the service in the chapel. Online condolences may be made to www.hayworth-miller.com
