Autumn Adrian Murphy Hooker

Autumn Adrian Murphy Hooker passed away peacefully on September 10, 2023, at the Kate B. Reynolds Home. She was born on June 26, 1932, to William Adrian and Treva Stamper Murphy in Forsyth County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 62 years, William B. Hooker, a son, Charles Allan Hooker, and a daughter-in-law, Linda. She is survived by two sons, William B. Hooker, Jr., and Thomas M. Hooker, Sr. (Brenda), three grandsons, Thomas Hooker, Jr. (Cindy), Scott Hooker (Heather), and David Hooker (Hannah), and one granddaughter, Rachel Boggs, as well as eight great-grandchildren: Madison, Amelia, Lilly, Hank, Owen, Jude, Drew, and Emma.

The family would like to thank the special caregivers, Nancy, Linda, Maggie, Cathy, Verna, Tina, and Kibby, who made it possible for Autumn to remain in her home. Also, a special thanks to the Kate B. Reynolds Home for their impeccable care and services.

A graveside service will be held at Forsyth Memorial Park on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 11:00 am with the ministers Matthew Sink and Bill McKenzie officiating.
