Avery Blake Margulies

Avery Blake Margulies, age 24, passed away unexpectedly on November 26, 2025, following a tragic accident. Born on February 23, 2001, Avery was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was known for his kind heart, his bright smile, and the way he made people feel understood and cared for.

Avery recently worked in landscaping, a job that reflected his connection to nature and his desire to build and create. He loved to travel, play basketball, and spend time with the people who meant the most to him. Above all, Avery adored his dog, Max, who brought him immeasurable comfort and joy.

Avery also carried struggles that were often unseen. He faced challenges with mental health and addiction—battles he fought with courage, even on the hardest days. These struggles do not define his life, but they are a part of his story and acknowledging them honors both his truth and the many others who walk similar paths. He was so much more than his pain: he was gentle, funny, loyal, deeply loving, and deeply loved.

He leaves behind a family and community who will forever remember his compassion, his laughter, and the light he brought into their lives. His absence is immeasurable, but the impact of his life will continue to be felt in the hearts he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Summerfield Farms - 3203 Pleasant Ridge Rd, Summerfield, NC 27358, from 2-5 pm, where family and friends will gather to share stories, honor Avery’s memory, and surround one another with love.
