Banner Jan Reich

Mr. Banner Jan Reich, 74, passed away February 8, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. He was born October 30, 1940 in Forsyth County to the late Banner Jackson Reich and Daisy Eddinger Reich. Mr. Reich was a member of Mizpah Moravian Church where he was band director for 35 years and served in various capacities, including the Boards of Elders and Trustees. He graduated from Gray High School and attended N.C. State University. He retired from AT&T/ Lucent Technologies with 35 years of service. Mr. Reich is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Evelyn Hedgecock Reich; his daughter, Sabrina Christine Tuten (Herb); a grandson, Ian Blake Tuten (Ellen). A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Mizpah Moravian Church with the Rev. John Rainey officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mizpah Moravian Church Building fund, 3165 Mizpah Church Rd., Rural Hall, NC 27045.
