Barbara Ann Priddy Joyce

Mrs. Barbara Ann Priddy Joyce, 79, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, surrounded by her family at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. She was born in Stokes County on February 18, 1947, the daughter of the late L.T. Priddy and Ruth Wright Priddy. Mrs. Joyce was a member of Tru-Way Baptist Church in Westfield. She was loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, who will be missed deeply by all who knew her. Mrs. Joyce and her husband Michael were tobacco farmers in Westfield. She was a NASCAR fan, Duke Basketball fan and loved watching Hallmark movies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Michael Joyce; a sister, Betty Heath and a brother, Ronald Priddy. She is survived by her three sons, Derrick Joyce (Tina), David Joyce (Denise) and Duane Joyce (Sunday), four grandchildren, Casie Dawson (Zach), Caleb Joyce (Aubree), Devyn Joyce and Sydney Joyce and five great-grandchildren, Fitz, Hawke, Dallas, Statler and Jet. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August10, 2026, at Tru-Way Baptist Church Cemetery, 2585 Pell Rd., Westfield, NC 27053, with her son, Rev. David Joyce officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home or Tru-Way Baptist Church. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Tina for all of the love and care she has shown during Mrs. Joyce’s time of need.
