Barbara Ann Mock Boles

Mrs. Barbara Ann Mock Boles, 83, passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center.
Barbara was an amazing lady with God-given abilities that she shared with many. Barbara was a dedicated Christian, amazing mother, wife, and truly one of a kind. She was loving, caring, and compassionate to any one she ever met. She loved people, traveling, antiques, and life!
Barbara was born in Winston-Salem and attended Gray High School and Forsyth Technical Community College, in which she completed an associated degree in Nursing. She worked at Western Electric in her earlier years, then Forsyth Medical Center, where she worked for 40 years in ICU before retiring. Norman, her husband, and herself started 3 R's Mobile Home Park in 1973. Barbara has been president for the past 11 years. Barbara attended Victory on the Frontline Ministries. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, and daughter, Robbin.
Surviving are daughters, Renee Hunter and Roxane Weaver; grandchildren, Casey Howerton and Cheyenne Weaver; and great-grandchild, Christopher Johnson.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Dr. Michael Duffield officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 am - 2 pm prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Parklawn Memorial Park.

Per Barbara's request prior to her death, she wanted to say the following - ""A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, ‘Grieve not for me'. My mind is at ease and my soul is at rest. Remembering all how truly I was blessed. Continue traditions no matter how small. Go on with your life, don't worry about falls. I miss you all dearly so keep your chin up, until the day comes we are together again.""
