Barbara Roberts Burgess

Barbara Roberts Burgess, 92, passed away at her residence in Winston-Salem on Saturday, September 5, 2026.

Barbara was born in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Marion Albert Roberts and Grace Coggins Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Tom E. Burgess, Sr.; and a sister, Patricia May.

She is survived by her son, Tom E. Burgess, Jr. of Kernersville, NC; and a niece and nephew.

A graveside service will be held in Columbia, South Carolina at a later date.

You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
