Barbara Hiatt DeBusk

Mrs. Barbara Hiatt DeBusk passed away early Monday morning at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Forsyth County on May 28, 1945 to the late Cornelius Hiatt and Martha Reid Hiatt. Barbara was retired from Pinewest OB-GYN. She was preceded in death by a sister. Barbara is survived by husband John DeBusk, Sr.; daughter Kimberly Steagall; son John ""Fellow"" DeBusk, Jr. (Lisa); grandchildren Rosa, Cheyenne, and ""Little man"" Brentley; her best dog buddy Betsy; also special friends Donna and Tony Sanders and Becky and Robert Messer. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Woodland Cemetery in Winston-Salem, NC. The family will receive friends at 3:00 PM Saturday, at Barbara and John's home on Eaton Dr. in High Point, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Barbara DeBusk memory to DRSWV, 1784 Bernard Drive, Elliston, VA 24087. The family would like to give a special and heartfelt thank you to Barbara's caregiver Lisa DeBusk.
