Barbara Naylor Elliot

Mrs. Barbara Naylor Elliot, 88, passed away the evening of Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC. She was a loving wife, mother, and good friend. Barbara was born on May 10, 1938, in Forsyth County, NC, to the late Edward Watson Naylor, Sr. and Sarah Lillian Vaughn Naylor. Her childhood days were spent in downtown Winston-Salem. The family moved to Jefferson Church Road where she remained until her passing. Barbara worked at Hanes Hosiery for 35 years where she made lifelong friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Richard Elliott and her brother, Edward Watson Naylor, Jr. Barbara is survived by her two daughters, Crystal Martin (Robert) and Cheryl Voss (Richard); sister, Elizabeth Ann Mabe; and many nieces, cousins, and friends. Per Barbara’s request there will be no public services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 9220 Antioch Church Road, Rural Hall, NC, 27045.
