Barbara Jean "Jeannie" L. Fulp

Barbara Jean ""Jeannie"" Landreth Fulp, 76, went to be with our heavenly father on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Jeannie was born on July 13, 1941 to Plato Alexander ""P.A."" Landreth and Mary Woods Landreth in Roaring River, NC. Jeannie loved to garden with her sister, Sandi, by her side. It was her favorite thing to do. In fact, the children remember how Jeannie's yard was awarded ""yard of the month"" almost every month. Jeannie and Sandi were also amazing cooks, sharing recipes and making the best meals. Jeannie would prepare enough food to feed the many friends who regularly joined the family at the dinner table. Jeannie was a member of Summit Church of Kernersville. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving is the love of her life and husband of 46 years, Don R. Fulp; daughters, Shelley Fulp Sanders of Raleigh, Wendy Rousse (Jay) of Chapel Hill; grandchild, Courtney Rousse-Sparks (Walt) of Raleigh; sister, Sandi Crouch (Jim) of Clemmons; brother, Rick Landreth (Carolyn) of King. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 24, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Chaplain Rennie Adcock officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:45 PM - 1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to any cancer charity, or to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family would like to thank the doctors and medical staff at Wake Forest Baptist Health for the excellent care over the last 3 years. Special thanks also goes to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home without whose care and support this process would have been much more difficult. We can't express how grateful we are to the staff and volunteers who gave us a home away from home the last days of Mom's life.
