Barbara Styers Hill

Mrs. Barbara Sue Styers Hill, 89, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. She was born on April 7, 1934, in Forsyth County, the daughter of the late James Wallace Styers and Bessie Evola Creeson Styers. Mrs. Hill was a longtime member of Woodland Baptist Church and a member of the Faithful Followers Sunday School Class. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, who will be missed deeply by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, David Lee Hill; a brother, Jim Styers; two sisters, Diane Snow and Linda Willard and many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her husband, Billy Hill; a son, Mark Hill (Kelly); a daughter, Shawn Leigh Hill; three grandchildren, Logan, Alex, and Aaron; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Vicky Styers; one brother, Doug Styers and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Woodland Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Gammons officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 prior to the service at the church.
