Barbara Ann Markland

Mrs. Barbara Ann Markland, 81, of Winston-Salem died Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at her home. She was born January 8, 1929 in Winston-Salem, the daughter of the late Robert and Edna Swing Austin. Mrs. Markland was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Markland. She is survived by two daughters, Monti M. Hughes of Winston-Salem and Bonnie Markland-Groff of Wilmington. The funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11:00 AM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
