Barbara Sue Mosteller Parker

Mrs. Barbara Sue Mosteller Parker,76, died Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Hinkle Hospice House. She was born on February 18, 1933, in Cherokee County, a daughter of Wilburn M. and Belvie Morgan Mosteller. Mrs. Parker was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Arcadia. Funeral services for Mrs. Parker will be held Sunday, December 6, 2009,at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Andrews, NC. Burial will follow in Valley Town Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn Parker; her parents;and sisters, Hazel M. Neal and Frances M Neal. She is survived by sons, Allan Parker and wife Carole of Lexington, Marlin Parker and wife Judy of Welcome; daughter, Sylvia Sapp and husband Tim of Welcome; grandchildren, Tina, Amanda, Ryan, Jana,and Jocelyn; great grandchildren, John, Gracie, and Norah.
