Barbara Guilliams Randleman

Barbara Guilliams Randleman, 79, passed away on January 28, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. Barbara was born on March 24, 1934 to Thelmo Guilliams and Minnie Nichols Guilliams in Franklin County, VA. As a young child she attended Phoebe Needles School. Barbara always kept a place in her heart for the school's outreach ministry to the local youth. There she developed a life-long passion for music and a love of travel. Together with her husband, she visited many far-away destinations both in the U.S. and abroad. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Randleman; and sisters, Erma Custer and Mary Ann Webb. Survivors include her son, Steve Randleman (Lisa); daughter, Julie Younts (Brent); grandchildren, Spencer and Sophie Randleman; and Jacob and Jessica Younts; as well as a sister, Nancy Bradley. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, February 1, 2014 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Callaway, VA.
