Barbara Sue Renegar

Mrs. Barbara Sue Renegar, 67, died on Monday, June 19, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center. Barbara was born on January 17, 1950, in Forsyth County to Herbert Lee and Ina Susan Buckner. She was a homemaker, enjoyed her family, and adored her grandchildren. Her family will remember her as energetic, spunky, and quick to speak her mind. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Renegar; one son, Jeffrey D. Greer; and three brothers, Jimmy L. Buckner, Jerry W. Buckner, and Robert ""Bobby"" Buckner. Surviving are one son, Mike Greer (Keely); one daughter, Susan Greer; three grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Joyce, Kayla Dayne Greer and Lydia Paige Greer; three great-grandchildren, Eden Nicole McFarland, Ivy Mae Middleton, and Rynessa Dawn Bryant; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, June 23, 2017, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
