Barbara Evalena Vawter Wilkins

Mrs. Barbara Evalena Vawter Wilkins, 77, passed away on August 21, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on May 18, 1948, in Forsyth County to the late Thomas Franklin Vawter and Mary Beamon Vawter. Barbara was a member of Liberty Baptist Church for 27 years. She enjoyed reading, bowling, and thought the world of her fur baby “Sissy”. Barbara was the glue that held the family together and always put others before herself. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ray Wilkins, Jr. Barbara is survived by two sons, Bryan Wilkins (Nikki), and Samuel Wilkins. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday August 27, 2025, at Liberty Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Styers officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Entombment will follow at Gardens of Memory Walkertown mausoleum.
