Barbara Wall

Mrs. Barbara Grubbs Wall of Rural Hall, NC passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.  She was born on September 3, 1941 in Forsyth County to the late John and Mae Grubbs.  Barbara was an active member of Temple Baptist Church in Lewisville, NC, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and utilizing her many talents wherever needed.  Her work career spanned 9 ½ years at R.J. Reynolds and a hairdresser for 35 years.  She loved being a hairdresser and operated her own shop for most of those years.  Barbara was so gifted in decorating whether it be her home, church or helping a friend!  Her greatest pleasure in life was being a Christian and living for the Lord.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.  Survivors include her husband, David Sherill Wall of 20 years; two daughters, Sherri Winfrey (Roy) of Kernersville and Pamela Rogers (Kevin) of Lewisville, NC; two granddaughters, Meghan Cooper of Kernersville and Anna Rogers of Lewisville, NC; two great-grandsons, Jacob and Jaxon Cooper; step-daughter, Lisa Foster (Mike) of Rural Hall; two step-sons, Tim Wall (Michelle) of Rural Hall and Phil Wall of King; six step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; also surviving are two sisters, Betty Huls (Bill) of Pfafftown and Dorothy Henry Davis of Lewisville; one brother-in-law, Glenn Walker; and several nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 2:00 PM at Temple Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Josh Boles.  Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
