Beatrice Dalton

WINSTON-SALEM- Beatrice Pauline Stanley Dalton, 94 passed away March 11, 2018. She was born on December 31, 1923 in Floyd, VA to the late Dewey E. Stanley and Nancy Ada Dalton Stanley.

Mrs. Dalton enjoyed her family, church family and loving neighbors. She was a long-time member of Linville Forest Church of Christ. She loved worshipping and doing what she could in the church. She enjoyed gardening, working in her flowers, making quilts for family members and donating to fundraisers for the Walkertown Lions Club. Beatrice crocheted as long as she was able. She also embroidered pillow cases for gifts to family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Richard E. Dalton; brother Clonie Stanley; son-in-law John W. Broadstreet; brother-in-laws Cecil Newman and Jimmy Williams and foster daughter Sandra Leigh Hancock

Surviving are her daughters, Estelle Broadstreet and Sylvia Skafidas (Tom); son Sherman Dalton (Elaine); grandchildren, Matthew Dalton, Lisa Marion (Tracy) and Wendy Broadstreet (Chris Pedersen); great-grandchildren, Micah Dalton, Cody Marion and Chloe Marion; sisters Agnes Newman and Betty Williams; brother Clendon Stanley (Doris); and sister-in-law Edna Stanley.

Funeral services will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.

The family will receive friends 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service.
