Bee Gwynn, M.D.

Mrs. Bee Gatling Gwynn, M.D., 88, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019.  Born September 1, 1930 in Norfolk, VA, the daughter of Judge and Mrs. Willard I. Gatling.  Dr. Gwynn graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and the Bowman Gray School of Medicine in 1960.  She served her internship at the University of Colorado Medical Center and completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She practiced pediatrics in Charlotte and later worked for Student Health at Winthrop College.  She also worked in Public Health in Caswell County, NC and Pittsylvania County, VA.  Surviving is her husband, Thomas Gwynn of the home.  There will be no formal services.  Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel is serving the Gwynn family.
