Beldona 'Donna' Boger Spaugh

Mrs. Beldona ""Donna"" Boger Spaugh, 82, of Clemmons, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born June 1, 1931 in Forsyth County to Alfonzo Lon Boger and Selma Anders Boger. Mrs. Spaugh was a member of New Vision Baptist Worship Center in Clemmons and retired from the Brookstown Inn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur William Spaugh, Jr.; a son, Bruce ""Skippy"" Wesley Cardwell, Jr.; a sister, Lois Spaugh and a brother, J.C. Boger. Surviving are three daughters, Vickie Underwood of Clemmons, Shirley Fore (Richard) of Clemmons and Deborah Dee Barker (William) of Pittsburgh, PA; one stepdaughter, Patricia Cain (Larry) of Winston-Salem; one stepson, Timothy Spaugh (Jane) of Hickory; ten grandchildren, Tracey Underwood, Stephen Underwood (Angela), Maria Stimson (Darren), Rick Fore (Amy), Sarah Fore, Bethany Barker, Brooke Chavis, Billy John Barker, Bradley Cain (Rita) and Brett Cain and fourteen great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at New Vision Baptist Worship Center in Clemmons with Pastor Tracy Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Salvation Army, 836 Oak St., Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
