Benito Dabon Lim

Benito D. Lim of Lewisville, NC, husband of Judy; son of Eulogio and Loretta Lim, deceased; brother of Jacinto, Robert, Peter and Richard; uncle and second father to his many nieces and nephews; and friend to all he met, died September 20, 2016. Born July 19, 1949, Ben was a native of Cebu City, Philippines. A graduate of San Carlos University in Cebu, he worked for Lim Ket Kai Copra. In the U.S., Ben first opened a branch of his family's rattan furniture business in Charlotte, NC. Later he worked at Kernersville Dodge in Kernersville, NC and other Winston-Salem dealerships. Ben never met a stranger, was full of life and laughter, and a big tease especially with his ""children"". He was also a talented artist with a brush or a pencil, his guitar, or his woodworking. He never met a plant he didn't like or one he couldn't revive. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Lewisville, NC at 11:00AM with visitation following. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in honor of Ben be made to The American Heart Association.
