Benjamin "Roy" Campbell

KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Benjamin Leroy ""Roy"" Campbell, 84, died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Hospice of High Point. Roy was born on October 27, 1930 in Greenville County, SC to Benjamin Monroe and Vina Goanell Campbell. Roy was a veteran of the US Air Force and enjoyed old cars and bluegrass music. He especially enjoyed meeting daily with his breakfast group at BoJangles!

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Campbell.

Surviving are his daughter, Regina Auman (husband, Mark); one grandson, Daniel Auman; four brothers; four sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 24, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Home of High Point, 1803 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27292.
