Benjamin Sizemore

Mr. Benjamin Robert Sizemore, 74 of East Bend, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. He was born April 24, 1944 in Harlan County, KY to the late Willie and Myrtle Howard Sizemore. Mr. Sizemore had retired as Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He was an avid fan of the UK Wildcats, loved baseball and had a lifelong love of dogs and was known to fix anything broken. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Janet Sizemore; two sons, Ben Sizemore, Jr. and wife Tina and Troy Sizemore; one daughter, Jennifer Sizemore and two granddaughters, Khiana and Hannah Sizemore. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, June 4, 2018 at Lewisville United Methodist Church by Dr. Ivan Peden. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lewisville United Methodist Church Discretionary Fund or to AARF.
