Bernard Hicks Taylor

Bernard Hicks Taylor, 83, of Kernersville, NC went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at his home. He was born to the late Roby Taylor and Ethel Williams Taylor on August 31, 1942, in Carroll County, Virginia.

Bernard was a member of the 3D Church of Kernersville. He was a huge outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Bernard’s longest love and his heart was with the farm where he spent most of his time. He enjoyed working cattle, hay, and being outside. Bernard will be remembered as a hard working and simple man.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by eight brothers; and one sister.

Bernard is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Angeline Jefferson Taylor; sons, Darren Taylor (Debbie), and Brad Taylor (Becky); grandsons, Christopher, Forrest, and Mitchell; great-grandson, Shepard; sister, Terry Taylor; brother, Dennis Taylor (Kathy); and Several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. Officiating the service is Michael Jefferson and Robert Williams.
