Bertha Mae Parks

CHARLOTTE, NC-Miss Bertha Mae Parks, 89, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at her residence. Miss Parks was born on January 7, 1925 in Randolph County, NC to the late William Dewey Parks, Sr. and Ada Mae Allred Parks. In addition to her parents, Miss Parks was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Gann and a brother, William Dewey Parks, Jr. Miss Parks is survived by two brothers, Jesse Thomas Parks and wife, Anne of Lexington, NC and David T. Parks and wife, Till of Pineville, NC. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
