Mrs. Bethany Nicole Porter Beverly, 33, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at her home. She was born on May 4, 1993, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Jeffrey Paul Porter and Alycia Helen Harder Porter. Bethany graduated from Vandalia Christian School as Salutatorian and then received her bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University. She was a hard-working, dedicated employee of Siemens Energy in Rural Hall. Bethany will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend to all who knew her. Bethany went through life with a servant’s heart and adventurous spirit. She was an amazing cook, who could make a meal from anything. Bethany was very detailed oriented; she loved to travel and loved her dogs. She possessed tremendous artistic ability, she was a writer, painter, and loved to draw and make crafts. Bethany was preceded in death by her twin sons, Kaiden Alexander Beverly and Charlie Phoenix Beverly and her paternal grandfather, Warren David Porter. She is survived by her husband Brandon Beverly; her son, Lincoln Bennett Beverly; her parents, Jeffrey and Alycia Porter; a brother, Craig Porter; her maternal grandmother, Henrietta B. Harder; her maternal grandfather, James Harry Harder; and her paternal grandmother, Anna Ruth Porter. She is also survived by a host of other relatives scattered all over the country. Funeral services for Bethany will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Rev. Jason Vineyard officiating. Burial will follow in Quaker Gap Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
