Betty Jean Baity Cornatzer

Betty Jean Baity Cornatzer, 90, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Woltz Hospice Home.

Ms. Cornatzer was born May 13, 1935, in Yadkin County, to Charles Cashful Baity and Ohna Lee Cook Baity. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son, Frank Dean Baity; her brother, Charles Thomas Baity; and two sisters, Hilda Gay Pardue, and Jennie Lee King.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Pamela Jean Baity; two grandchildren, Travis Cashful Baity (Christin), and Phyllis Michele Felts (Nathan); three great-grandchildren, Walker Dean Baity, Isabella Raye Baity, and Emalyn Grace Baity; her sister, Peggy Ann Luffman (David); numerous nieces and nephews; and special daughter in-law, Virginia Baity.
