Mrs. Betty Sue White Blansett, 85, died on February 2, 2020, at her residence. Betty was born in Coalwood, WV, on March 5, 1934, to Ruby Marshall and Howard White. She owned Blansett Jewelers with her late husband and was an active member of Spirit and Truth Worship Center. Betty was a faithful Christian, devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring grand and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Vernon Blansett; one brother, Leonard White; two sisters, Alma Davis and Bonnie Pennell. Surviving are two daughters, Susan Jefferson (husband Mike) and Vicki Moses (husband Russell); four grandchildren, Amy Taylor, Kelly Reid, Adam Moses, and Ashley Isaacs (husband Trent); six great-grandchildren, Dylan Taylor, Sadie Taylor, Seth Barbour, Isabele Isaacs, Dakota Isaacs, and Rachel Isaacs; one sister, Joyce Lawson; several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Bea Ferguson. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Bishop Bob Williams officiating. A private family interment will be held following the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
