Betty Branton

Mrs. Betty Branton 62, of Winston-Salem died Friday, May 17, 2013 at her home. She was born November 21, 1950 in Patterson, NJ, the daughter of the late, Robert Joseph and Elizabeth Winters DeGraw. I n addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joey Branton. Survivors include her husband, J. C. Branton of the home; two sons, Murray Jesse Branton and wife, Leigh Ann of Statesville and Jimmy Branton and fiancée, Gina Marsh of Germanton; one daughter-in-law, Michelle Black of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, Jessicah, Dustin and Dakota; one great grandchild, Trynton; and her close friends, Mark and Paula Leonard of Mocksville. The funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Bishop Turaville, President Scott, Elder Charles Lee and Justin Hoyte officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Gur Cemetery in Kernersville. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
