Betty Kaye Flippin

Ms. Betty Kaye Flippin, 89, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on January 15 ,1937, in Forsyth County to the late Samuel Meadows Flippin and Ola Kiser Flippin. Betty was a longtime member of United Baptist Church. In her younger years, she enjoyed taking care of her great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her two sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Flippin Jones (Wayne), and Rachel Flippin. She is survived by one nephew, Steve Jones (Kim), one niece, Debbie Nelms (John), two great-nephews, Brody Jones (Ashley) and Jared Nelms (Brandy), one great-niece, Jessica Nelms (Rob), two great-great-nieces, Charlotte Jones and Haddie Nelms, and one great-great- nephew, Aiden Jones. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday September 5, 2026, at United Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Will Watson officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. A private Inurnment will take place at Crestview Memorial Park following the service.
