Betty Flynt

Ms. Betty Lee Moser Flynt, 91, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 16, 2023. She was born to the late Percy Heral Moser and Flaura Ketner Moser on May 5, 1931 in Forsyth County. Betty was a lifetime resident of Winston-Salem and attended New Philadelphia Moravian Church for most of her life. She enjoyed spending her time gardening or working outside. Betty always took great pride in the way she took care of her children and all of her family. They will forever cherish hearing her say her three worded remarks as she will always be deeply missed. Betty is survived by her two loving daughters, Karen Allen (Michael) and Krista White (Jeff); four grandchildren, Shane Crotts (Tina), Brent Crotts (Kathy), Erin Spence (Nick), and Lauren Middleton (Adam); seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and two sisters, Maxine Woosley, and Darlene Todd. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Dr. Jeremy Simpson officiating. The family will be receiving friends at 11:00am to 12:00 Noon before the service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Kate B.
