Betty C. Hansley

Mrs. Betty C. Hansley, 81, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016.

Betty was born October 5, 1934 to the late James and Eva Carter. She retired from K-Mart after 20 plus years of service. She loved to visit the coast in her free time and above all loved spending time with her family.

Betty is survived by her husband, Norman P. Hansley; children, Deborah Johnson and husband Bobby of Winston-Salem, Norman E. Hansley of Winston-Salem and Tina Hansley of Mocksville; grandchildren, Kandis Grant and husband Jamie, Ronnie L. Tullock II, Chasity Baughman and husband Steven, and Zachary Hayes; 10 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 2 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, September 23, 2016 from 6 - 8 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
