Betty Marion Jordan

GEORGIA -- Mrs. Betty Colleen Marion Jordan, 76, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014, surrounded by her family. Betty was born in Forsyth County to the late Albert H. Marion Jr. and Dorothy Hendrix Marion. She retired from US Air - a career that complimented her love of traveling, and she was an avid spoon collector. Betty had a kindred spirit and never met a stranger.

Surviving are her husband, Robert ""Bob"" Jordan; two sons, Robert ""Bobby"" Jordan, Jr. (wife, Rose) and David ""Kenny"" Jordan (wife, Becky); one daughter, Donna J. Hughes (husband, Michael); four grandchildren, Robert Jordan, III, David K. Jordan, Mitch Weavil and Jordyn Piche; a brother, Roger Marion (wife, Sandra); two sisters, Wanda Stolz (husband, Gary) and Nancy Marion; many step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family who will miss her dearly.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, at the funeral home.
