Betty Sue Shumate King

Mrs. Betty Sue Shumate King, 71, of Winston Salem, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015. She was born in North Wilkesboro, NC on July 10, 1944 to Rom Alonzo and Inez Rhodes Shumate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Edmon King, Jr and brother Jack Shumate and her parents. Surviving are two sons and their families, Mark and Barbara King, Randall and Deana King, sisters Ruth Gaddy and Belva Shumate, brothers Wade and Ray Shumate, four grandchildren Andrew, Alex, Ethan, and Emily. A private family graveside services will be held on Wednesday November 25, 2015
