Betty Sue Lowery

Ms. Betty Sue Lowery passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. Ms. Lowery was born March 9, 1946 in Forsyth County to Raymond and Louise Sykes Lowery. She was saved as a little girl at Lighthouse Mission. She loved to cook and enjoyed listening to country music. Ms. Lowery retired from AT&T. She was preceded in death by her father as well as one brother, Wallace Franklin Lowery. Surviving to cherish her memory are her mother, Louise Lowery; daughter, Lisa Keasler (Mickey) of Yadkinville; grandchildren, Matthew Keasler, Bethany Keasler; great grandchildren, Logan and Morgan; three brothers, Steve Lowery, Ron Lowery (Marilyn), and Bill Lowery (Melony); numerous beloved nieces and nephews including Timmie and Tracie Lowery and Zachary Lowery; and her sister of the heart, Claudia Tuttle. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum's New Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jimmie Lancaster. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. The family would like to thank Barbara Goldsmith and her team at Forsyth Medical Center's Eighth Floor Palliative Care Unit for their wonderful care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forsyth Medical Center Palliative Care Unit or Maplewood Baptist Church, PO Box 576, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
