Betty Andrews Mitchell

Mrs. Betty Andrews Mitchell, 85, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born on November 22, 1928 in Alleghany Co. the daughter of the late Claude and Nora Saddler Andrews. Mrs. Mitchell was a homemaker and a member of Crestwood Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, James L. Mitchell, her three sons, Ronald Mitchell (Susan), Robert Mitchell (Robin) and Timothy Mitchell (Lisa), 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a sister, Kay Fresconi of DE. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Pastor David Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 this evening at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
