Betty Nanney

Kernersville- Mrs. Betty Larence Parsons Nanney, age 66, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at her home. She was born October 23, 1950 in Norfolk, VA to the late Charles Luther Parsons, Jr. and Doris Hartman Parsons. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Nanney, Sr. and her son, Christopher Nanney.

Surviving are; two daughters Karen Nanney, and Sara (David) Brown, and a son, Jimmy
(Angie) Nanney, four grandchildren; Taylor, Joseph, Lily and Shane, four brothers; Louis (Suzie), John (Pam), Ralph (Beth) and Bobby Parsons, and one sister; Linda Parsons, and many special family and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Pisgah United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Currie officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday evening August 21, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.

Memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice and Palliative Care Center at 101 Hospice Lane Winston Salem, NC 27101, or to the Peddycord Scholarship Fund at 2165 Pisgah Church Rd. Kernersville, NC 27284.
