SANDERS - WINSTON-SALEM Mrs. Betty Justice Sanders, 67, of Winston-Salem passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 1, 1946 in Wimmers Gap, VA to the late Alice Wimmer and Warnie Day. Mrs. Sanders was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Mrs. Sanders is survived by her husband, Bobby Lee Sanders of the home; son, Ira Alan Justice and wife, Carina, of Walnut Cove; three daughters: Kimberly Justice Fowler and husband, Terry, of Granite Falls, June Allison Justice of Durham and Debra Simmons and husband, Dennis, of King; nine grandchildren: Leann Fowler, Joshua Fowler, Summer Fowler, Brittany White, Amber Burbank, Ira Alan Justice Jr., Allison Hunter, Kasey Simmons, and Brandon Simmons; five great-grandchildren: Tyler, Kayleigh, and Aaron Hunter, Jaden White and Ryan Burbank; three brothers: Raymond Wimmer, Billy Underwood, and Timmy Underwood; and four sisters: Gaynell Hicks, Anna Davis, Dolly Daniels, and Linda Dickson. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 at Bethany Baptist Church with Dr. Brad Stamey officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
