Betty Towe

Mrs. Betty Skipper Towe, 78, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Betty was born on May 27, 1940, in Columbus County, NC to the late Ralph Skipper and Belle Carlyle Skipper. She retired from AT&T with 30 years of service. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Luther Towe; two sisters, Nancy Fletcher and Gray Hinson; and one brother, Arthur Skipper. She is survived by her son, Anthony "Tony" Towe (Angie) of Winston-Salem; and grandchildren, Brittany, Morgan, Audrey, Tony, Sophia, Gema, Amanda, Cody, C.J., Cheyenne, and Stella. Funeral services for Mrs. Towe will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. John E. Sealey officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
