Betty Louise Vestal

Lexington – Mrs. Betty Louise Klobas Vestal, 85, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at her residence.  She was born October 12, 1934 in Bluefield, WV, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Hoffman Klobas.  She was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church and enjoyed going out to eat.  A collector of all things important and sentimental, she was a selfless amazing quilter and cook.  She showed her loved through her cooking and always tried to feed everyone.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son Bobby Vestal, Jr.; one sister and two brothers.  Survivors include three children, Tammy Phillips (James) of Lexington, Donna Ray (Randy) of Elizabeth City and Norma Phillips (Rodney) of Winston-Salem; three sisters, Audrey Austin of Winston-Salem, Margaret Moneyhun of Wyoming and Hetty Cecil of Ohio; thirty three grandchildren and great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 21, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Billy Norris officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
