Betty Terry Houston

It is with great sadness that the family of Betty Terry Houston announces her passing on Monday, September 2, 2019, at the age of 92 years.  Born August 1, 1927, to the late Edward and Estelle Terry of Pageland SC. Betty was preceded in death by her Husband George Porter Houston, her brothers Frank Terry, Joe Terry, and grandson Terry Michael Houston.  Betty will be lovingly remembered by her sons George P Houston, Jr. (Dawn), Terry Houston (Lisa); grandchildren, Jeff Houston, Shannon Carr (Jason), Lindsey White (Bobby); great-grandchildren, Jared, Aidan Carr, Haley, Karley, Maddie and Finley White.  A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Chris Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.  Betty loved spending time with her family, church family and many friends.  She will be treasured forever.
