Beulah Zimmerman

Winston-Salem- Mrs. Beulah Stilley Zimmerman, 98, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center.  The youngest of thirteen children, she was born May 10, 1920 in Stokes County, the daughter of William and Julia Loggins Stilley. A member of Fraternity Church of the Brethren, she had served on the Deacon Board, as a Sunday School teacher and on the Hospitality Committee.  Beulah loved to travel, enjoyed eating and loved to tell stories.  She will be missed by all, especially her family to whom she was devoted.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph Eugene Zimmerman; a daughter, Nancy Z. Foster and several siblings.  Survivors include a daughter, Dorcas Z. Knight and husband, Joe of Winston-Salem; a grandson, Bobby G. Scott and wife, Emily of Winston-Salem; a step granddaughter, Ashley Knight of High Point; two great grandsons, Dalton and Wyatt Scott; a step great grandson, Nicholas and many nieces, nephews and friends.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Fraternity Church of the Brethren with Pastor Hal Sonafrank officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday, March 4, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.  The family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Forsyth Medical Center for the loving care of Beulah during the past week.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
