Beverly Ann Meadows Williams

Beverly Ann Meadows Williams, 82, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Grayson Creek Assisted Living, surrounded by loved ones. Beverly was born in High Point, NC July 12, 1942, to the late Dewey and Zella Hensdale Meadows.

Beverly was a preschool teacher for many years at Edgewood Christian School and spent her early adulthood raising her three beloved children in Walkertown, NC. In 1983 she moved to Midway where she spent the rest of her days watching her grandchildren grow up. She was a devout Christian and attended Welcome First Baptist Church. Beverly had an affinity for mountain vacations and enjoyed clogging in Asheville and Cherokee. 

She was preceded in passing by her daughter, Kewaunee; a granddaughter, Brandee; grandson, Joshua; and her four brothers, Lloyd “Pete”, Dewey Joe “Tooter”, Kenneth, and Conrad “Babe”. 

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Teresa Ryan of Welcome; her son, Christopher Mabe of Midway; granddaughters, Beverly “Michelle” Gordon of Winston-Salem, Krystal Parrett (Tommy) of Wentworth, Laura Brown (Brandon) of Whitsett, and Brittanie Mabe of Midway; great grandchildren David Taylor, Haley Blankenship, Maggie Blankenship (Coby), Kylee Mabe, Christian Parrett, Kaiden Berry, Aria Parrett, Jaxon Brown; and great-great granddaughter, Kiara Blackwell, as well as many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held for family and friends on Sunday, September 29th from 5pm-7pm at Hayworth Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 30th at 12 pm at Gardens of Memory Walkertown Mausoleum. Officiating the service will be Beverly's nephew, Pastor Curtis Joe Meadows.

Additionally, Beverly’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Grayson Creek Assisted Living and Mountain Valley Hospice for the love and support they showed Beverly and the family.
