Billie Branch

Mr. Billie Ray Branch, 86, passed away Friday, February 08, 2019 at Village Care of King.  He was born January 14, 1933 in Forsyth County to the late Walter Taylor Branch and Lula Mae Stewart Branch.  Mr. Branch was of the Baptist faith and retired from Sara Lee.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Branch was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Wolfe Branch and brother, Bobby Branch.  He is survived by his two daughters, Linda B. Stanley (Ronnie) and Elaine B. Overby (Ken); four grandchildren: Mark Stanley (Stacy), Jason Stanley (Lynn), Brandon Overby (Lori), and Kendell O. Theis (Mark); seven great-grandchildren: Adilyn Overby, Graham Overby, Brooklyn Overby, Damon Stanley, Kaile Stanley, James Stanley, and Matthew Stanley; and two sisters, Nancy Branch and Jo Ann Yokeley (Jacob).  A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, February 11, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Rev. Ken Overby officiating.  Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.  Mr. Branch will lie-in-state 30 minutes prior to the service.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
