Billie "Frank" Franklin Willard

Mr. Billie Franklin “Frank” Willard, 82, passed away on Saturday November 22, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on January 6, 1943, in Yadkinville to the late Joseph Franklin Willard and Mary Victoria King Willard. Frank retired from RJ Reynolds as a machine operator after 35 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables, rebuilding car and lawn mower engines. He also enjoyed bowling on a bowling league in his free time. Frank was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Myers Willard, and three siblings, Geraldine Granger, Linney Willard, and Albert Willard. Frank is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Welborn, son-in-law, Gerald Welborn, Zandra McCollum, son-in-law, Shane McCollum, his companion, Ellen Pegram, six grandchildren, Miranda Wolf, Alex Wolf, Zachary Wolf, Brian Welborn, Georgia Welborn and Abbie Welborn, three great-grandchildren, Katelyn Welborn, Braxton Wolf, and Haley Welborn, several nieces and a nephew. The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM Saturday November 29, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall, NC with Pastor Ed Grover officiating.
