Billy Carter

Mr. Billy Wayne Carter, 69, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on November 4, 2018.  He was born on December 26, 1948 to Flossie Shore and Luther Paul Carter in Forsyth County.  He retired from Westinghouse with 35 years of service.  Billy loved to work with his hands and will be remembered for his outspoken nature.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.  Surviving are his children, Matthew Carter and wife, Dana of Kernersville, and Ashley Goodwin and husband Nathan of Lewisville; grandchildren, Hayden Carter, McKenzie Bean, Dacey Carter and Mallie Carter; a sister, Lois Snider, and best friend, Paul Nickel.  A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM, Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
