Billy Jack Cole

KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Billy ""Bill"" Jack Cole, 81, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at his home. Bill was born in Greene County, Arkansas on November 15, 1932 to Howard H. and Stella Elmore Cole. He enjoyed spending time at the beach and was a huge fan and supporter of Wake Forest Basketball. Bill loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and they loved him two-fold!

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, John Cobb and a nephew, Michael Moser.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon Cole; three sons, Jeff Cole (Charlene) of Kansas, Andy Cole (Jennifer) of Pennsylvania and Rob Cole (Kristin) of Charlotte; five grandchildren, Emery, Wesley, Zach, Jena and Jackson Cole; three sisters, Patricia Cobb, Peggy Moser (Sherman) and Ann Buell (Clifton); many loving nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters-in-law and their families.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Kernersville with Dr. Stephen Martin officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church Fellowship Hall. Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
