Mr. Billy Joe Crosier, age 85 of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at his home. Mr. Crosier was born August 22, 1932 in Sweet Springs, WV to Roy Lee Crosier and Bessie Humphreys Crosier. He was the owner and operator of Crosier Plumbing for 30 years. Billy Joe loved going to Auctions, telling jokes, laughing and spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents Mr. Crosier was preceded in death by two sisters; Betty Sue Wills and Doris Ann McMillian. His twin brother, Bobby R. Crosier. Mr. Crosier is survived by his wife of 62 years of marriage, Naomi Crosier of the home. One daughter, Joyce (Dale) Robertson of Advance. One son, Robert Crosier of Winston-Salem. Two grandsons; Jason (Lori) Robertson and Barry (Allison) Robertson. Two great-grandchildren; Genna and Austin Robertson. Two sisters; Nora Lee (James) Wickline and Frankie Jane (Don) Rice. Two brothers Leon and Donald Crosier. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Crosier will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall by Pastor Jerry Webb. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
