Billy Deboard

Mr. Billy Joe DeBoard, 76, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on July 12, 1943 the son of the late Reggie DeBoard and Pearl Hurley DeBoard. Mr. DeBoard was a Republican and strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment. He loved gambling, loved dogs, fishing, spending time at the beach and flirting with women. He had a caring and giving heart, taking in many people in their time of need. Mr. DeBoard loved NASCAR and attending races at Bowman Gray Stadium. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda McGee DeBoard. He is survived by four children, Belinda, Cindy, Jody and Scott; his stepchildren; his sweetie, Diane Bailey; and a special friend, Brenda Noe. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2019 at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m.  Sunday afternoon, December 15, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
